Adidas x Metropolitan Jacket

Designed with a combination of a court look and outdoor technology, this Adidas x Metropolitan Jacket features a striking collaborative design inspired by retro race-kit uniforms. Constructed with a raised collar neckline and packable hood, the outer has a three layer fully taped main body with bright inserts underneath the arms dyed to a vibrant real magenta colourway. The front is fastened by a full length zip with a yellow tint coloured tab. On either side of the chest zip secured pockets offer space to carry essential items in addition to two more at the waist with a branded rubber patch in between. Further decoration can be seen around the sleeves with reflective triple stripe lines positioned at an angle and in large across the reverse stylised ‘Metropolitan USA’ lettering has also been added. Helping to keep the fit secure and comfortable when on the move, elasticated trims wrap around the edge of the body and long sleeves.

Making a bold statement for the new season, this pullover fleece has been designed as part of the second collaboration between adidas and Metropolitan, a brand originally founded in 1994 by DLX. Keith Hufnagel and Hanni El Khatib revived the brand in 2017, the duo have introduced a fresh selection of designs that reference their lifestyles during the ‘90s which included them owning import tuner cars which has proved to be key inspiration for this release.
